I bought the Sig Softy and it has worn out. To save a few bucks I bought this one. It's good for what it is, but the Softy is way more realistic.

I figured I'd try the Preferred hitting strip before trying the SIGPRO 3D or Softy as I can buy 2 Preferred strips for the price of a softy. I had the Gungho Holy Grail and I prefer the Preferred mat by a mile. The Gungho Holy Grail is basically hollow on the inside which is great if you have joint issues. The Preferred strip takes real tees and feels legit. We'll see how it holds up. The only gripe I have is that it is 1.5" shorter and 1" taller than the Gungho so I had to modify my platform a bit to make it work.

Good force absorption, does leave a bit of residue on the clubs from the mat, but easy to wipe off and doesn't hurt the club. overall best artificial surface I've hit off of. Oould buy again.

Hitting irons off this mat is like slicing through hot Butter melting on grandma's biscuits. Fat shot do not hurt just feel like you took a divot our on the course. Regular tees work great and stay up at any length. Highly recommend this hitting mat for real feel. Durability I can't say yet only had it a few days. I use my sim everyday so it will get tested and will check back in. Can't go wrong here
